RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman found dead beneath a bridge in Durham last year likely drowned, according to an autopsy report released Wednesday.

Police found Tina Renee Maynard, 38, on April 4, 2013, partially submerged in a creek by an abutment in the 400 block of Latta Road.

The autopsy by the North Carolina's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh found a high amount of ethanol in Maynard's system, and the report said that could have been a contributing factor to her death.

A Durham Police Department spokeswoman said no one was charged in the case.
