Woman dies in Vance County wreck
A woman died when her car crossed the center line of Stewart Farm Road, east of Henderson, and struck another vehicle head-on Wednesday evening, state troopers said.
Posted — UpdatedHENDERSON, N.C. — A woman died when her car crossed the center line of Stewart Farm Road, east of Henderson, and struck another vehicle head-on Wednesday evening, state troopers said.
Troopers identified the deceased as Gladys Chastian Adcox, 40, of Henderson.
The driver of the second vehicle, Patrick O'Neal Williams, 34, of Henderson, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Maria Parham Medical Center.
Troopers said they did not expect to file charges.
