Woman dies in Cumberland County crash
A woman died in a car crash early Wednesday on Interstate 95 north in Cumberland County, troopers said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A woman died in a car crash early Wednesday on Interstate 95 north in Cumberland County, troopers said.
Jessica Leigh Baysden, 27, of Hubert, was a soldier at Fort Bragg. She was a specialist in the warrior transition battalion, according to Fort Bragg officials.
She apparently drove off the left side of the road, overcorrected, drove off the road again and hit a guardrail, troopers said.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. near mile marker 61.
Speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash, authorities said.
