A 59-year-old woman died in a house fire on Friday morning in Cumberland County.

Crews responded to a fire at a home on Muscat Road in Hope Mills around 2:30.

Jo Ann Noel was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the home.

It's not known what started the fire. Investigators do not suspect foul play.
