<b>LINDEN, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County authorities charged a Linden woman Tuesday with attempted murder after her husband was shot.

Amanda Clark, 27, of 8434 Tourmaline Drive, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. She was being held without bond in the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Ryan Clifford Clark, 31, was shot several times Monday. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition Wednesday.
