No one was injured, police said. The crash happened on Interstate 40 westbound near (Durham) Chapel Hill Boulevard.

It happened on I-40, so you know there was at least one left lane she could have moved over into.

What's this world coming to when you can't even rear end a police cruiser anymore?

The move over law is completely unfair considering all the cell phone use while driving these days. How are you supposed to be expected to pay attention enough to avoid such tickets?

I share this car with this Officer...it happens all the time that no one will move over. Im just glad he was not hurt. She will most likely say she didn't see his car with all the lights on........unreal.

Bet you a dollar to a doughnut she was on her cell phone discussing some useless nickle-dime drama. I and a friend recently spent a day conducting my own little research project pertaining to numbers of drivers on cell phones while driving. Of the drivers we observed during various periods of the day, 29 of 36 women were on a cell phone compared to 6 of 28.

The "Move Over" law. Educate yourselves. Its the law. Even if it wasn't, have a little respect. Would you want someone coming within inches, if youre lucky, of you while on the side of the road?? I think not.

Ms. Houston, just be glad you didn't kill him. WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!
