— Authorities said an employee of WLOS-TV in Asheville was killed in a shooting Friday evening in Arden, N.C.

Buncombe County authorities arrested Robin Richardson, 47, and charged her with first-degree murder in the shooting of Tim Fry.

“In a business where people focus so much on what’s going on in their departments, Tim was open, friendly, calm, competent and easy to talk to,” WLOS general manager Jim Conners said in a statement. “His death is a huge personal and professional loss to everyone he knew. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family and a legion of friends, customers and associates.”

Richardson was being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility with no bond.

Authorities have not said what led to the shooting. No further information has been released.
