Woman charged in fatal south Durham shooting
Durham police have charged a 47-year-old woman with murder in the shooting death of Maurice Arnold last month.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police have charged a 47-year-old woman with murder in the shooting death of Maurice Arnold last month.
Martha Townsend-McGee was arrested Monday in Robeson County by the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
On July 11, Arnold, 49, was found dead inside the home he shared with Townsend-McGee at 204 Mutual Court. The relationship between the two was not released.
