Woman arrested at RDU on coke trafficking charge

Cary police, assisting federal drug enforcement agents at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, arrested a woman Saturday and charged her with drug trafficking.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Cary police, assisting federal drug enforcement agents at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, arrested a woman Saturday and charged her with drug trafficking.

A Cary drug-sniffing dog identified contraband in the luggage of Mary Elizabeth Rosavelez, 34, of National City, Calif.

Police found 582 grams cocaine and some heroin. Rosavelez was being held on $3 million secured bond.
