Woman accused of stealing sister’s identity

Shelby Hooper, 40, is accused of using her older sister's personal information to get credit cards, and open various money accounts.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman is facing identity theft charges.

Shelby Hooper, 40, is accused of using her older sister's personal information to get credit cards, and open various money accounts.

The sister lives in Virginia and told WRAL her credit is ruined.

Hooper was being held Tuesday on $95,000 bond.
