RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman charged in a shooting outside a Raleigh fire station is due in court on Friday.

Tristian Dangela Todd, 20, of 811 Beverly Drive, faces several charges, including one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, going armed to the terror of people, discharge of a firearm in a city and intoxication and disruption.

Raleigh police said Todd and another woman were having a fight outside of a Raleigh fire station on South Saunders Street when a bullet went flying into the building, just inches above a sleeping firefighter.

The bullet missed firefighter Will Smith by 6 inches.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a week-long dispute between the two women and that at least one of the two fired multiple gunshots.
