Woman Accused of Making Counterfeit Payroll Checks

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh woman was arrested for making counterfeit payroll checks, police said.
Amber Dalton is accused of using her friend's identification to make the checks.
According to the arrest warrant, she attempted to cash the checks in Raleigh, Cary and Zebulon.
Dalton faces ID fraud, forging checks and obtaining property by false pretense charges.
