Garner police seek man in connection with ex-girlfriend's stabbing

— Garner police were searching Wednesday for a 38-year-old man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.

Perry Michael Wilson is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

According to investigators, Wilson stabbed Denique Kearney, 34, at a home on Faye Drive at about 10 p.m. Tuesday. Kearney was listed in fair condition at a local hospital.

Wilson was last seen in the area of the Forest Hills Shopping Center wearing a burgundy sweatshirt. Authorities say he also has home addresses in Raleigh and Wake County.

    Maybe the police should go to his employer and wait for him to arrive at work.

    Great story, hope his other ex's take warning sereously. Now maybe a Wake county judge will lock him away to protect Wake county citizens.

    What a shame......protective orders are only as good as the paper they are written on.....hoping this lady recovers quickly and he is caught and punished.
