Witness: Frustrated flier strips in Charlotte airport

Posted May 20, 2015

Travelers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport got an eyeful Wednesday morning when a man, reportedly upset that his flight was overbooked, stripped naked in the concourse.

Sherry Ketchie shared photos with Charlotte CBS affiliate WBTV.

She told the station that she saw people running and then heard snickering, so she went to take a look.

"He had his clothes on, at that point, and then he started standing there with his arms crossed and hollering at the lady at the desk," Ketchie told WBTV. "He stood there for a moment and then started taking off his clothes. I ain't never seen nothing [like that] in my life."

An airport employee told Ketchie that the man was angry about a flight.

Representatives of the airline, US Airways, and the airport directed questions to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, who told WBTV that the man "was suffering from a medical issue." Police don't plan to file any charges.

"I was not expecting to see nothing like that," Ketchie told WBTV. "I've never seen nothing like that at Charlotte Douglas airport. Never," she said. "And that's when I got out my phone and started taking pictures."

For many the answer would seem to be " Why yes, yes we must take pictures of everything. Even while we are at a restaurant eating a meal. We must share every moment we experience." Get a life folks...geeze. ;-)

Did they have to interview the most stereotypical southern country person they could find?? "I ain't never seen nothing like that in my life." Good grief.

If we're going to nitpick, then you meant to say either, "Can we work on getting witnesses who can speak proper English?" or "Can we work on getting witness comments spoken in proper English?"
