The Big Mac was first introduced at McDonald’s in 1967 and we are all familiar with the classic "two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!”

Over the years, they've listened to their customers who said it isn’t always a “one size fits all” situation and have taken the iconic Big Mac and created two new sizes - the Grand Mac and the Mac Jr.

The Grand Mac is prepared with one-third pound of 100 percent beef and two slices of American cheese served on a larger, three-decker sesame seed bun with crisp lettuce, minced onions, tangy pickles and the iconic Big Mac sauce.

The Mac Jr. has a single layer of 100 percent sear-sizzled beef, one slice of melty American cheese served on a sesame seed bun with crisp lettuce, minced onions, tangy pickles and iconic Big Mac sauce.

To celebrate, the McDonald’s at 3710 Western Blvd. in Raleigh is giving away 100 bottles of the secret Big Mac sauce on Thursday, January 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m..
