Wine dinner, Dishcrawl highlight week ahead

— No need to wait until the weekend to have a good time. Check out these best bets for the work-week.

Monday: Childress Vineyards Wine Diner at Bia at Solas - Renowned winemaker Mark Friszolowski, of Childress Vineyards, will talk about his experiences during this special event at Bia. The courses will feature Childress wines paired with Bia's fresh cuisine. It is $75 a person and seating is limited. Call for a reservation 919-755-0755.

Tuesday: Carolina Hurricanes vs. Winnipeg Jets - Puck drops at 7 p.m. 

Wednesday: Dishcrawl in the Warehouse District - This foodie tour will take you to four restaurants in the Warehouse District in downtown Raleigh. We have attended two other Dishcrawl events and they are a good time! Tickets are $45 a person. 

Wednesday and Thursday: Bull City Shootout - The 3-on-3 Bull City Shootout tournament at the Cage at American Tobacco Campus. Games run 10 am - 4 p.m Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.boys II men

Thursday: Boys II Men and the North Carolina Symphony - This R&B group will join the symphony and perform some of their greatest hits including "I'll Make Love To You," "End of the Road," "On Bended Knee." Tickets start at $38. 

Friday: Seth Meyers at the DPAC - The "Saturday Night Live" head writer and weekend update host will bring his stand-up act to Durham. Tickets start at $29.50.
