This contest is closed! Congratulations to our winners: myself, kristenwilliams, blytheclifford and Making Memories!

As I wrote over the weekend, the new family performance series called Storybook Theater at the Duke (formerly Progress) Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh opens with its first show Friday.

It launches with Rapunzel!: A Very Hairy Fairy Tale. Click here for tickets and more information about the series, which is part of a partnership between Marbles Kids Museum and the performing arts center.

I have four packs of four tickets to give away for the 6:30 p.m., Friday, performance!

How do you enter to win? Do one or both of the following:

1. Follow @GoAskMom on Twitter and tweet once about the contest.

2. Answer the following question in the comments below: Have you taken your kids to live performances before? If so, which ones?

This contest ends at noon, Feb. 27. Four winners will be picked at random from all entries. The winners' user name or Twitter name will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. Feb. 27 and an email or message will be sent to the winner, if possible. Each winner must respond by noon, Feb. 28, or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

I have taken my 4 year old to "A very Cary Christmas" 2 years in a row at the Cary Arts Center. We have also seen Disney on Ice at PNC Arena. When at Disney we saw the Nemo production, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King productions.... she really does best when seated up fron!

We have taken the children to local performances, but also to some live shows in Pigeon Forge, a great Motown show this past summer! Loved it!

We have gone to see Disney on Ice and The Nutcracker.

We have see Sesame Street Live, and Cinderella.

We've seen Cinderella. :)

My oldest just turned 3 so I am just getting into the live shows. She wasn't able to sit through them before.

We take the kids to see the Nutcracker every year

The Nutcracker and NC Symphony

We havent had the opportunity to take our little one to a live show because she was too young. Now, she loves to sing and dance and would understand the shows more. We would love to take her to one!

We did the Nutcracker that was done by her dance studio:) Also Disney on ice.
