Wilson High Neighbor Busted for Drugs

— Rickey Lee Speight was arrested Thursday when a search of his property yielded six small bags of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, authorities said.

Speight, of 4571 Lamm Road, lives next door to James B. Hunt High School in Wilson County.

 

He is charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances, possession of drugs within 300 fee of a school zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in Wilson County jail under $5,000 secured bond.

    Lol, seriously? Dope dealers should get public service announcements so they don't sell near school?

    sounds like a slow news day for WRAL. Suspect will probably get 30 days suspended and court cost $175.00. Sounds like Wilson is finally hitting rock bottom haha. If WRAL wants real criminal activity they should drive 30 north to Rocky Mount. There is enough action there for a full time reporter. How about some more news on the police chief' affair.

    Not much pot but he was near the school, good for the Wilson PD. I am sure you all would not have a problem with your children going to the school knowing that the neighbor next door was selling weed but most parents who care would. What you do on your time is OK but keep it out of and away from schools. Wake Up!!!
