Wild video of Black Friday brawls

Posted December 1, 2015

Black Friday

Once again, shoppers around the country celebrated the Thanksgiving weekend by doing battle over TV sets and gaming systems.

Head to syracuse.com for video of some of the wild and ridiculous incidents that occurred during Black Friday 2015.

There were people fighting over Air Jordan sneakers, TV's in a Texas Walmart, the spot in line outside of a Virginia Best Buy and more.

I am happy to report that I did not see anyone brawling over anything while I shopped in my pj's online at my desk. As you can see from the link above, there were no major incidents reported in the Triangle stores, as far as I know.

Did you see any excitement or bad behavior during the Black Friday weekend this year?

Very well said on being kind to employees. I worked retail for years and saw some pretty obnoxious behaviors as well. Thankfully, I did not experience the physical violence you have seen. Thanks for posting about your experience.

I did not do much shopping this time because I worked for years in retail and believe me when I say I have seen it all.....
I have seen people stand in line at the door for hours in freezing temps (nicely) only to be knocked down by others who waited in their warm cars until they saw someone unlock the doors ( yes, there were injuries)
I have seen people fist fighting and using profanity (in front of their kids) over a $10 toy.
I have been physically threatened and cursed by really rude, aggressive people because their actions forced me to ask them to leave the premises.
I have seen parking lot road rage (lots) including car keying.
I could tell some really bazaar stories....but you get the idea :)

Please, please be kind with the employees in your stores as they are usually overworked, underpaid and do not get much time to spend with their families during the holidays.
I make a point to say THANK YOU!! Please do the same - as a kind word does matter :)

luvstoQ - wow - that's crazy. I am glad it did not escalate any further, especially since you were so close. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, I did, in front of Kohls, Michaels, in Wake Forest (in parking lot). I was heading for my car after shopping Kohls, and in the next isle over there were two guys near their car, and two women driving past - did not know what the screaming was over, but the women got out of their car and the obscene screaming back and forth was horrible. Police came, stopped both vehicles as they were trying to leave. When I loaded my car and left, they were talking to them.
