Wife killed, husband shot at separate locations in Raeford
A wife was killed and her husband shot on Tuesday at two separate locations in Hoke County, officials said.

Hoke County deputies conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 100 block of Barnesbury Court, Raeford, where they found Sheryl Dianne Marshall, 36, who was dead. Nicholas Marshall, Sheryl Marshall's husband, requested the welfare check.
After finding Sheryl Marshall, officials said another call was made advising deputies that Nicholas Marshall was shot at a second location. Deputies went to 455 Pittman Grove Church Road, Raeford, and made contact with Nicholas Marshall, who was able to provide some information about his wife.
Officials said both incidents are under investigation.
