RALEIGH, N.C. — Things are getting a little "wicked" right down the street from WRAL studios. Wicked Taco has opened in the old KFC location on Western Boulevard near Cook-Out.

This is the fast-casual chain's second location. Their flagship restaurant is in Blackburg, Va.

The menu is is all about fresh ingredients, including salsa made daily in house, according to the restaurant's website.

Of course, tacos are a huge part of the menu. The Wolfie features rotisserie chicken with wicked sauce, red bliss potato and topped with Mexican slaw and Hatch queso. The Wicked One is a barbecue brisket taco with chipotle cream corn and jack cheese.

There are also veggie and seafood taco options. You can also choose to build your own.

I'm interested in the breakfast tacos, especially Juan in a Million, which has habanero sauce. That's the way to start your day - hot and spicy!

The menu also includes salads and sides, including queso, beans, cream corn and guacamole.

Drink options also include margaritas, craft beer, house-made horchata and agua fresca, Mexican bottled sodas and Pepsi products.

For its opening week, Wicked Taco will be open 10 a.m. through midnight Wednesday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Next week, owners plan to start regular hours - meaning you can get your taco fix at 6 a.m. each day, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. The drive-thru will also be opening next week.
