RALEIGH, N.C. — Looking for what to do this St. Patrick's Day weekend? Here are our best bets!
Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival: An annual event is this Saturday in downtown Raleigh. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a parade through downtown followed by a festival at City Plaza. The fun starts at 10 a.m.
Annual Blount Street Irish Party: Celebrate Irish heritage and St. Patrick's Day in downtown Raleigh at Tir na nOg. The fun starts at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Glenwood Avenue Block Party: Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh is hosting its annual block party for St. Patrick's Day. Everything kicks off Friday at Hibernian and continues Saturday with live music from Supersonic and Love Tribe, drink specials and Guinness glass engraving.
The Hibernian's other locations will also be celebrating. In Cary, the Hibernian Street Fair is Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. with live music, vendors, face painting and more. In North Raleigh, the weekend is full of live music and drink specials for St. Patrick's Day weekend and their one year anniversary. Sunday features Irish dancers, a bagpipe performance and $4 NC drafts.
Napper Tandy's on Glenwood Avenue will be hosting live music from 4-11 p.m.
And while you are in Glenwood South, you might want to check out the Gulliver's Travels St. Patrick's Day Photo Scavenger Hunt Bar Crawl, which kicks off at 3 p.m. at Lucky B's.
On St. Patrick's Day, we recommend heading to Big Boss in Raleigh for their annual "Who's Your Paddy?" party with food trucks and, of course, beer. The party starts at 3 p.m. Monday.
West 94th Street Pub in Durham will be celebrating with drink and food specials all weekend. There will be karaoke Friday night.
In Cary, Doherty's Irish Pub is holding a weekend of events, including live bagpipe music. On Sunday, they will be hosting their Sunday brunch complete with a Bloody Mary bar.
Not every pub has published their plans for this weekend. But we can guarantee that our Five Fave pubs in the Triangle will have parties going on!
