There are many exciting events happening this weekend in the Triangle - many bring a sampling of global culture, others showcase local talent.
The final round of the Fire in the Triad competition pitted two Greensboro restaurants against each other in battle "peanut" and "beer."
The Carrboro Music Festival, now entering its 15th year, is this Saturday. Over 180 bands and artists will be featured at 25 different venues scattered across downtown.
