Coupon4me, I also loved your quote. I'm glad my words could be of some comfort to you. Had someone told me what the future would bring when I was in the midst of everything, I would have been shocked. :) Your dinner tonight sounds so good. I love dinners that highlight the flavor of simple, fresh ingredients.

Tonight I think we are having breakfast for dinner in the form of raisin bread French toast and bacon. BTW, my new favorite way to make bacon is to line a sheet pan with foil and a sheet of parchment paper if the foil is not non-stick, and then to bake it in a hot oven. It's so easy, I don't get burned by grease splattering, and there is zero cleanup!

Faye, your dinner would pair perfectly with my lunch--I had an eggplant that needed to be cooked, so last night I made baked eggplant parm to bring to work today :)

Dinner tonight is tacos--an easy meal I forget about all too often.

Coupon4Me--your dinner sounds tasty! I've been curious about Blue Apron. . . and your boys will keep you going, that's for sure--they can help you get through those tough days, along with faith in the Lord Almighty--this too, shall pass.

Tonight we are having vegetarian chicken parmesan with whole wheat spaghetti with marinara sauce, Boca veggie chicken burgers and a big salad.

coupon4me - I love the quote you shared and agree with it completely: "The tree that bends with the wind is the one that springs back to life after the storm is over..." And one day at a time is an excellent strategy as well. Sending you hugs. And at $1.66 per serving, that is a frugal dinner that sounds delicious!

Dinner tonight is spicy pan fried chicken with corn on the cob and tomato salad - a blue apron delivery recipe. I paid $19.99 for three meals - they gave me a code for $20 off. Each meal is supposed to make 2 servings but that will go further in my house...probably 4. So I guess now that I think about it - it is kinda frugal. $1.66 a serving and I didn't have to go to the store to get it!

Wow - I just can't believe how compassionate you all are.

Jdouglas - what a sweet thought about what could be around the corner for me. A long way off but the thought of loving again sounds nice. He litterally was the only man I have ever loved in my life. We were together more than half of my life.

I am so lucky that I do have an amazing support from many parts of my life and I am smart enough to know I need to rely on them right now. (Here included!!!). Having the boys (8 and 6) puts Drive in your step and I am so thankful for them. Yes GJAN1 - one day at a time is my montra right now and also "The tree that bends with the wind is the one that springs back to life after the storm is over..."

Thank you so much for all of your kind words, encouragement, prayers and offer to email to chat. Don't be surprised if you hear from me. I appreciate you more than you know.
