    JDouglas13 - Your meal sounds very yummy - two servings of blueberries, please!! Really good price on the escarole --thanks for posting-- I hope to find it on my next FL visit. :)

    Very true about tomorrow's meal, Faye! ... and the fresh air was enjoyed for an early supper.

    Everyone's menus sound wonderful! Hard to pick my fave! :)

    Tonight we are having leftover chicken-pasta-veg-tomato soup and rolls. I tried escarole for the first time yesterday and added it to the soup. It looks sort of like romaine lettuce, but the leaves are much sturdier and, when raw, taste a bit like radicchio. The flavor mellowed in the soup, and my veggie-avoiding DW even gave the escarole a thumbs up. I did some price comparisons before I bought the escarole, and FL had it for $0.99/head -- two-thirds LESS than other stores.

    More rice pudding with blueberries and whipped cream for dessert.

    We are making omelettes tonight using the rest of the pizza toppings I already cut up for Monday night's dinner. Omelette choices include bell peppers, onions, ham, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, avocados, and of course plenty of cheese! Fresh fruit on the side.

    LindaBates - No matter which you choose for tonight, it sounds like a hit!

    Faye - I'm bring our crockpot over to swap with yours ;) Early this morning, I was wishing I had thawed chicken to bbq. Instead, I had fixin's for stuffed cabbage rolls and placed on top of chunky veggies for the slow cooker to simmer into a sofrito-style sauce. Bu-u-ut ... with sunshine and warm temps, my brood 'petitioned' for outdoor-picnic-fare this evening (truthfully, it took no arm-twisting). So-o-o, lol :) ... washed mango peels are sun-steeping in green tea at an indoor window. The corn-on-the-cob will now accompany baked ham (last night' leftover). Chilling in the fridge: Blanched asparagus bits tossed w/ grape tomatoes, feta cheese & red wine vinaigrette; a bowl of banana pudding. Tomorrow night - reheated stuffed cabbage :)

    BBQ chicken is currently cooking in the Crockpot and it smells sooooo good! Serving it with rolls and a big salad.
