JDOUGLAS13 - the kitten will win bed space - they always do ! LOL
My grey sweetheart arrived on my ragdoll's 2nd birthday 5 years ago
I did not think I was ready for a new kitten since I had lost my precious rescue kitty to cancer 6 months before ( to the day !) but my new little boy helped me to "love" again and is the most content cat I have ever had - no fussing, never grumpy or sick .

jdouglas - good luck. I hope your little grey kitty brings you as much joy as mine does. Mine grey Spooky did the same thing - just showed up one day and announced I live here now.

    Observant -- thank you!

Tonight will be the kitty's first night inside, so we'll see how that all goes, especially when the fight for lap space and bed space begins.

We are having the Gourmet Buffet tonight including left over BBQ.

The Pit was nice last night. I highly recommend it. The food was great and appropriately priced. I do recommend reservations.

Observant -- thank you! I did see that and appreciate it very much! :)

Thanks to everyone who posted in answer to my chicken questions. I always enjoy hearing how other folks prepare things.

I finally switched out the full for the empty propane tank on the grill, so I'm back in business. Tonight we are having NY strip steaks that I got yesterday at Lowes. They had the whole strip loins for $4.77/lb, but cut steaks for only $1 more, which worked out better for me. Sides are baked potato and some kind of green veg from the freezer.

In other news... The Princess, our Scottie, may be getting a sister in the form of a little gray kitten that turned up on our front porch yesterday and seems to have adopted us all. She even allows for whole-head washing by our Scottie! I've never seen such a crazy-dog accepting kitty! Stay tuned as the story develops! LOL
