Meredith, how cool that you are having produce from your garden tonight! My tomatoes and basil are looking good, but it will be a while before the tomatoes are ready.

Dinner last night was a really tasty concoction. I had a lot of leftover roasted veg that I supplemented with more tomatoes and some asparagus, added some pasta, and Italian sausage that I cooked on the grill. A tiny drizzle of EVOO, a splash of the pasta water, and a little grated parm, and it was dinner. DW ate a TON of veg and actually enjoyed it. I even have her eating yellow squash and zucchini in limited amounts. It only took 26 years LOL.

Of course, the cake was amazing.

I'm still waiting for inspiration to strike for a menu tonight. Maybe Caesar salad with shrimp or chicken?

Tonight we are having spaghetti, garlic cheese bread and salad. I have some Mueller's veggie pasta that was free a while ago from a sale/coupon combo. Ragu pasta sauce was 9 cents a few weeks ago at HT (and is free this week with SD!).

meredith88 - YAY for the first zucchini from your garden this year! I love zucchini pizza bites..... and eclairs. lol

We changed our plans at the last minute last night. We went and got free tacos from Taco Bell and took them home to eat with leftover rice and refried beans we had in the fridge, chips and salsa and fresh grapes.

Tonight we are having zucchini pizzas with the first zucchini out of our garden!!! Here's the recipe we'll be trying: http://damndelicious.net/2014/06/04/zucchini-pizza-bites/ We'll have caesar salad on the side as well as fresh grapes and cherries from last week's sales. My husband will definitely be enjoying one of the HT eclairs for dessert.
