jdouglas13 - oh no! I am so sorry you are both sick! Sending healing thoughts you way. And thanks for the freezer cookie stash. :-)

ThomasG - Have you signed up for the Coupon/Cookie Swap on Dec 5th? There you will be able to taste test a bunch of cookies. You show up with 5 dozen cookies and go home with 5 dozen different cookies (if you can get that many home). :-)

COOKIES ?? I have much practice as a taste tester !

BTW, dinner was almost homemade Chex mix tonight, but since I caught DW's cold, I just want something like Cream of Wheat for dinner with a lot of sugar on it. DW is having tuna on Ritz crakers. I must have jinxed myself making the 2009 Pneumonia Shortbread yesterday.

    Consider them frozen LOL ;)

jdouglas13 - such vital things you are learning. I will supply you with some non-raw sushi soon. :-) If you like rice, avocado, cucumber, crab (well, fake crab/pollack) and nori (thin seaweed) you'll love California rolls.

And STOP tempting me with my favorite cookies in the world! Freeze a couple for me, pretty please???? I'll trade you some sushi!

I learn something new here every day! First, football is played on days other than Sunday. Next, that not all sushi is raw. If that's the case, I just might give it a try one of these days. :)

Congrats on the great report cards!

Last night we had canned soup (Progresso B2G3 at HT) and grilled cheese sandwiches. Tonight might be shrimp (in the freezer from a past sale) with Caesar salad since I have some lettuce that's use it or lose it. Maybe some garlic toasts if I am feeling energetic.

By the way, the oven has been cranking out the cookies and the house smells like a bakery, so feel free to make a caravan stop. :)

I am amending dinner and adding some sushi to is as well (nothing raw, don't worry) from Lowe's Foods. Our Lowes does Sushi Wednesday and they put the sushi on sale for $4.99 for pretty good size portion. The girls had great report cards so I am surprising them with one of their favorite meals. :-)

Tonight it's a gourmet buffet of sorts. We have leftover BBQ chicken and leftover tofu and I'll throw in a side and veggie. It's a busy night so easy is the main requirement. lol

ascherer - that's a great idea to use the free app as your dinner and then you only have to pay for 1 meal.

Garnertoy - as in baked potato skins with sloppy joe mix on them? That sounds really good. What time is dinner?

Last night we went to Outback for dinner. Had a free app coupon and used it to get the quesadilla as my entree. Tonight might be sloppy joe potato skins or spaghetti (=^-.-^=).
