nakabi - I am still in the same area - just a different house. Kids are at the same schools. And I think we are going to need to road trip to you before dinner is served tonight. We need to hurry though since it's getting late. :-)

    Jdouglas- that steak sounds fabulous!
RFB-I make my spinach lasagna in the crockpot and it's so good! I'll have to try your recipe!
    Faye-Did you move from Clayton?
Tonight I'm making grilled chipotle rubbed chicken breasts wrapped with prosciutto, loaded baked potatoes, bacon wrapped grilled asparagus with a honey chipotle sauce, steamed green beans with walnuts, and left over homemade key lime pie for dessert. A quick and easy; my favourite kind of meal!!!

RFB, thanks for the link! :) I pinned the recipe. The cheesecake is cooling and she requested baked potato instead of potato salad. We might add some garlic bread to the menu.

Faye, thanks for the good wishes. Just a few more days to mushroom heaven with a side of chocolate LOL ;)

RFB - I must make the crockpot lasagna!! Thank you for the link.

Jdouglas - Happy Birthday to your DW!! Her b-day sounds awesome. So does that chicken marsala.......

NANEE LION - I just picked up the Sara Lee brand Hawaiian rolls at Walmart when I was in there yesterday. Not a great price but so good with the chicken (which was on sale). And we are settling in to the house slowly. Still more boxes to unpack but getting there. One day at a time. :-)

Pepper2 - I think I posted this yesterday, but again, I could eat veggie soup and grilled cheese every day. :-)

Pepper2 and Jdouglas- here's the link. I am obsessed with this blog (the same one with the crock pot chicken quinoa chili). Every single recipe I've made has been delicious... so glad I stumbled upon it! Oh, and on the cooking time. Not sure if my crockpot runs extra hot, but I only needed to do about 2-1/2 hours on high, and then covered (turned completely off) for 15 min. Luckily I started to smell a very done smell, and checked it early.

Jdouglas- sounds like a fantastic meal for your DW's b-day!

It is my beloved wife's birthday today, so a good dinner with stuff she likes: steak on the grill, potato salad, baked tomatoes with spinach filling, and cheesecake for dessert.

Ascherer, you and I have chicken Marsala on the brain. I'm making it for dinner on Saturday with the promised gazillion mushrooms. :)

RFB, your lasagna does sound wonderful! I'd love the recipe as well, if you don't mind.

Pepper2, your pecan brownies sound delicious. Are they brownies or blondies?
