I recently bought Family Friendly Fat Burning Meals recipe book, so I got a huge list of healthy recipes that helps me and my husband stay fit. Oh, and my children love them. :) You can peek into the book at http://www.reviewsbylisa.com/family-friendly-fat-burning-meals-review/

Granoftwenty, your homemade ice cream sounds wonderful! What kind are you making? I may steal your idea for the stuffed peppers. I bought peppers I need to use sooner than later.

Thank You ALL for terrific ideas - I am adding to my meal plan again !
GARNERTOY - Your meals sounds so good from start to finish !
Can I come live with you ?? I can wash dishes , kids and pets !
MEREDITH88 - your casserole reminds me of my family favorite "all in one pan" meal - ground beef or turkey , corn, tomatoes, onions and peppers ( sometimes bell ones and sometimes sweet ones ) . Serve with crusty bread if desired . I also use the meat/corn/tomato/onion mix as the filling in stuffed peppers when I have enough nice size peppers..
TONIGHT - A few of the grand-kids are here today (maybe all night) so they requested homemade pizzas ,salad & homemade ice cream . Maybe a movie or two later with popcorn .

Garnertoy, you got me at the pecan pie. For two cents, I'd go make one right now. Whipped cream for me please. It has been too long since I've had some good pecan pie.

Tonight we're having fried chicken with cole slaw and maybe baked sweet potato fries.

Tonight we are having Tuscan chicken in the slow cooker with a Tuscan spice packet I picked up this weekend. Sides include corn on the cob, steamed carrots, spinach salad and garlic bread.

meredith88 - your new creation sounds great! I would probably add a little something to moisten the stuffing like crushed tomatoes or salsa and lots of spices including garlic & pepper. If you want a creamier casserole you can always use cream of mushroom soup or Progresso Creamy Mushroom soup (my favorite). Let us know how it turns out.

Garnertoy, your dinner sounds delicious! I have been craving some country cooking the past week. I'll have to add it to next week's menu.

Tonight we are having a new creation that I will make up as I go. We were gifted a big bag of fresh banana peppers from a friend's garden and we need to use the rest up. So I am making a stuffed pepper casserole, because I don't want to take the time to stuff so many tiny peppers. I know it will involve rice, banana peppers, onions, seasoned ground beef, roasted corn and cheese. Beyond that I have no idea so I'm open to any ideas.

Garnertoy - You just need to sell raffle tickets to see which of us gets to come over and have dinner every day. Your daily menus all sound so good. I would love the recipe for the country style steak.
