Jdouglas- YES! You got it... well, except no capers (I don't have any :-) And I'm liking simple lately too. Your tuna sandwiches sound delicious! And interesting on the stems... I recently found out how flavorful cilantro stems can be as well (not in picatta, of course lol!)

PS: Faye, I just read your Ode to Baked Ziti. Fabulous!! LOL

RFB, veggie picatta!! What an interesting idea. How are you making it? I'm guessing a saute with a little wine/lemon/capers at the end? Freshly chopped Italian parsley is a wonderful finishing touch in picatta, especially if you chop up a bit of the stems. So much flavor in the stems.

Tonight we are keeping it very simple. Tuna sandwiches on rye bread topped with some lettuce and tomato. Chips for DW. Triple ginger cookies from TJ for me.

    Those meals do sound good!
We are having green Thai chicken curry, Jasmine rice, and steamed broccoli. Banana nut bread for dessert.

Faye- that pizza sounds really good!

Tonight I'm making a veggie picatta using leeks, red onion, zucchini, broccoli and kale over brown rice and quinoa spaghetti. I'm going to add in some chickpeas, or maybe a fried egg on top. And DH will have his topped with leftover poached chicken from last night.

Tonight we are having homemade veggie pizza and salad (using Mama Mary's pizza crusts on sale at HT through 2/2 with coupon). I had planned to have salmon from Aldi, but did not make it there yet this week.
