Tonight we had baked breaded shrimp, garlic bread using the 2 leftover bollilo rolls from last night, sauteed zucchini, squash and mushrooms and creamed corn.

twoboysandadog - lasagna sounds good - especially since it will be so cool in the coming days.

Tonight is sour cream and dill pork chops at BIL's house. I'm taking green beans and butter beans. I think we will have 4 out of the 5 siblings tonight. Some times we will go a month without seeing any of them and sometimes it is a weekly dinner. You have to love family.

Meredith- lol! My DH and I always do the "you cook, I wash" thing too :-)

And now that DH is home- YAY! I'm back on track cooking... except he wants to BBQ (rain or no rain). So he's grilling a tri-tip, and I'm going to roast up some broccoli and new potatoes. Then we'll make a side salad with the butter lettuce I got today from SD.

TwoBoysandaDog and Nakabi- your dinners sound delicious!!

My husband has the day off so we will be having whatever he decides to cook. Wednesday is pasta night so I know it will be pasta, otherwise I'll be surprised and just hope he didn't dirty every dish in the house since I will be the one washing them.

Tonight ill use up the last of the London broil from yesterday's stew and make Indonesian beef rendang using staple ingredients in the cabinets. Garlic red and green noodle beans along with Jasmine rice. The kids and I made a chocolate cake with lots of chocolate icing much to my kids and Mr. Nichols delight last night so we will have that for dessert.
