raesmom1612 - so sorry to start another epidemic when you can't join in!

meredith88 - the Vietnamese lomein sounds amazing!

Raesmom- wow, you have a big family! And so sweet that you cooked for the neighborhood... cooking is love!

Raesmom - I know. I am missing it also. We may have to have it on the menu next week.

There is a baked ziti epidemic going on and I'm missing it!!! Lol

It is just too yucky for what I had planned. So dinner tonight will be left over chili.

Baked ziti :), broccoli and garlic bread.

RFB, your cod recipe sounds really good!

Leftover baked ziti here tonight as well. Maybe baked chicken drumsticks if it looks like there isn't enough ziti to stand alone. We ended up with burgers instead of the chicken last night.

It would have been a great day for soup and homemade bread.

We don't have much time tonight so we are having authentic Vietnamese lomein that my husband's coworker made for us. They gave us a ton so it will be supper tonight and lunches the rest of the week.

Since it is a rainy day, we did slow cooker beef stroganof- recipe on Allrecipes.com. Golden mushroom soup, ground beef, and some worcestshire , then stir in cream cheese just before serving over cooked egg noodles or rice! Yum!

Since I dont have an oven at the moment, I am now craving a Baked Ziti lol Faye, may we come over tonight for leftovers :)

I made the creamy chicken in the slow cooker last night so that will be dinner today.

RFB~thanks for that link, that soup really does look amazing!! I love her story about making enough food to feed an army, reminds me of myself. Growing up I had 6 sisters and 1 brother and we each had to take turns making meals. Needless to say, when I married DH and started coking for what was supposed to be just the 2 of us, it turned out to be for all of my neighbors as well (this was back when we were in the Marine Corps, so I guess I was feeding an Army LOL). Thanks again
