ascherer - love your gourmet buffet. We kind of did that last night. Love cleaning out the fridge for dinner!

Tonight was the gourmet buffet. If you can find it and want it, it is yours.

I'm glad you were finally able to eat Faye.

Faye, I'm so sorry you not feeling well! :( I'm sure the girls will jump in and help out with dinner. Hope it's just the 24 hour variety and you're feeling much better by tomorrow.

RFB, you did amazing at TJ! I am going to have to get one of their tri-tips one of these days. They sound so good every time you post about them.

Raesmom, your dinner sounds delicious. What did you end up baking? Sad to say I can't even remember the last time I baked.

I'm not sure what we're having for dinner, but I finally washed the romaine hearts I bought over the weekend. I guess that's a start. :p

Faye I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I agree with everyone about the weather; I'm ready for some "Fall" weather. It's my favorite time of year. I'm having leftovers again; just too hot to cook.

LOL, Chicken Picatta is on my list, too! But I'm making it with Gardein "Scallopini" and using spaghetti squash. That salad sounds like a great accompaniment!

Faye- I'm sorry you're feeling bad... hope you feel better soon!!! :-(

Raesmom- that sounds so delicious! And so fun that you're baking today.

Nakabi- I'm with Faye on the soup and the weather. I'm ready for some cooler weather, too.

Raesmom - thanks! Your dinner sounds great. You know I am sick when even cheesecake does not interest me..... On a positive note - this is a great kick off to the diet I started September 1st! lol

Oh no Faye! I hope you are feeling better soon!!

Im thinking bbq pork chops in the oven today with biscuits, greens, baked beans and possibly a potato salad or green salad on the side. Dessert will either be cheesecake or a chocolate cake....im in the mood to bake today :)

    Love that salad RFB!

Nakabi - your soup sounds so good. How I wish it were cool enough to make soup here.

I don't have any idea what the family is having tonight. I have been struggling with a stomach bug so they may just have to fend for themselves this evening. We cleared out all leftovers last night so it will probably be frozen pizza since I don't think they want me to do any cooking for them. lol
