I'm sorry for all of you with food allergies!! I'm allergic to bee stings and penicillin (anaphylactic), but thankfully those things are easy to avoid!
Lemon pepper chicken using .10 lemons from last week, chicken breast for .99/lb, wild rice pilaf, roasted artichokes & romaine, and grilled zucchini. Peanut butter pie for dessert.

Ascherer- Thanks! And I'm so sorry on your allergies to milk and rye. It is a pain to have to read labels so much, but the worst part is when you eat out, and can't control it! I have lemon every day with my tea, and am also eating some other fruits, like apples (which I do peel!) :-)

RFB and OBSERVANT - I still haven't received a response from Earth Fare. I will post on "What's for dinner Thursday" (or Friday or whatever) when I do hear back from them.

RFB - Good luck with the food allergies. I do feel your pain. I am allergic to rye (badly) and milk (slightly). I really like that they can tell you how allergic you are to things. I can't have any rye at all and faithfully read labels on anything bread related. I can still enjoy cheeses but can't have a glass of milk or bowl of ice cream each day.

Good luck with it. If you can have the lemon daily, you might be able to add in some fruit each day to give you some variety. Wash them well or peel them.

Observant - You are welcome. I haven't heard back from Earth Fare yet. I will post here or on the "What's for Dinner" blog whatever day I hear back.

Chicken Curry. Using some of the .88/lb thighs from Kroger and adding spice packet from the Indian store. Serving over rice. Adding salad.

RFB, identifying food allergies is really tough -- I feel for you! Hope you identify yours soon.

Observant, great info! I knew they injected some poultry, but didn't know with what. Yuck.

RFB - I will let you know when I hear something back from Earth Fare about the meats they sell.
