twinredheads - thanks for the feedback on the Moroccan chicken. Will have to try is (and I won't add too much sauce, either - thanks for the warning). :-)

jdouglas13 - yum -fish and chips!!

Faye-The Moroccan chicken was REALLY good. A little spicy but I just skipped adding the additional sauce to my portion. Kind of shocked at how much I liked it!

Raesmom, poor kid! I know just how she feels. Sometimes one allergy med works better than another, and sometimes a combo of two will do the trick. Her doctor should be able to suggest something for you if what she's on isn't helping. A combo of Singulair (RX) and Claritan (OTC) worked pretty well when my allergies are at their worst. I ask the doctor for samples to see if it helps before committing to paying for a prescription.

Well, it looks like tomorrow night will be caprese salad and grilled chicken. We were out buying lampshades today, and my DW took me out for an early dinner to Skipper's Fish in Apex for fish & chips. Great meal, fun date, and no dishes! It doesn't get any better than that! :)

With all the slow cooker recipes I do (at least two a week) am actually trying the Campbell's Slow Cooker Chicken Moroccan Stew for the first time. Will serve over couscous with a side of fresh green beans.

Faye and Raesmom- hope your girls feel better soon!

Jdouglas- wow, that sounds like a PERFECT dinner!!!

And, not sure what we're doing yet... but I did buy a kiwi today (that was ripe!) so I might do our roasted shrimp with the kiwi apple slaw (so easy on a lazy day :-)

Faye, sorry to hear one of the girls is sick -- hope she's doing better really soon. Raesmom, we are coming into (or are in actually) prime time pollen allergy season with all the tree pollen. Lots of kids with allergies really struggle with this, just wanted to give you a heads up.

Dinner... well, last night was leftover stew at 8:30 to give you an idea of how motivated I was to cook. I'm feeling like having something fresh after that, like a dinner salad or something. I have a lot of grape tomatoes, the little fresh mozzarella balls, and a basil plant in the kitchen window, so maybe a caprese salad and some grilled chicken? Obviously, I'm winging it. We'll see. ;)

raesmom1612 - thanks. She was a little better today. Just a bad cold. :-( She just wasn't hungry at all last night.

twoboysandadog and raesmom - both of your dinners sounds yummy!
