Jdouglas, Faye, and Ascherer- thank you! No fun being sick... I actually think he got sick from going to the doctor for his yearly checkup... ugh. Ocean is taking good care of us tonight :-)

And Faye- that makes me so happy on the omelets! Brings back such good memories, back in SB serving them at the B&B (where they were a favorite, too!) So happy they are still bringing smiles!!

RFB - I do hope you and your DH are feeling better soon.

And yes, this is my dinner of choice when I don't have to feed my DH. I prefer Brie on slices of Granny Smith apples but I didn't have any.

ascherer - your dinner sounds delicious! I would be perfectly happy with that dinner. And maybe a glass of Lambrusco to go with it. :-)

RaleighFoodBlogger - yikes! I, too hope you and your hubby are feeling better soon. BTW - when I told my 12 year old that we were having the baked omelet with cream cheese, her eyes actually lit up and she said: "Yay!". It was hilarious. That recipe is such a keeper!!

Ascherer- that sounds like a perfect dinner! I love brie :-)

It is just me for dinner tonight. So, I am having cheddar and Brie on cr*ckers with grapes, orange segments and walnuts.

So... last night DH ended up being so sick, he couldn't eat, so I ended up getting a ZPizza. Which, BTW, the BBQ Chicken is the BEST pizza I've ever had and worth every penny (with a nice mailer coupon, of course lol!)

And tonight, we're doing the soup... as my throat is getting itchy, too grrrr.... :-( Come on chicken noodle soup- I have my second round of super doubles tomorrow!!!

raesmom1612 - I can't wait to hear how you like it. It's also really good with a slice of provolone in the sandwich. :-)

Tonight we are having a baked omelet with swiss cheese, turkey bacon, spinach & mushrooms using RFB's recipe here:

I'll serve it with sides of biscuits and fruit.
