Thanks, Raesmom and Nakabi :) Finally heard from the landlord who told us he is not responsible for that kind of repair. Really?

I had pulled out chicken drumsticks to have last night before we had the sink problem, so I think DW is going to cook those on the grill along with some asparagus. I can put a couple of potatoes in the microwave, so there will be a minimum of dirty dishes. At least no pots and pans to deal with.

jdouglas~i will give you a call tonight

Not sure whats for dinner. I pulled out some pork chops so they will either go in the oven with BBQ sauce with rice and a veggie on the side or in the oven with sausage flavored country gravy, mashed potatoes and biscuits, and veggies on the side......we shall see

jdouglas-sorry about your sink! raesmom-do you have any clients that have RDPs available that maybe jdouglas would be interested in?
    beadhive-salmon and asparagus sounds delicious!
I'll admit it, I'm the one that normally doesn't like leftovers. Probably from growing up with no electricity or refridgeration so we always cooked food every day. I basically cook every night and then DH and the kids eat the leftovers for lunch and I take mine to work.

jdouglas13 - oh no! So sorry about the sink. You really need to find a new place. It takes far too long for your landlord to handle essential repairs.

I think asparagus is a common theme tonight on our menus everyone!

Nanny113 - I totally agree about the leftovers. My husband has no issue with them and we usually have them for lunch. I just had leftover baked ziti for my lunch and it was delicious!

Beadhive, that's the ultimate luxury, isn't it? Being able to sit down to a nice meal at home that someone else has cooked! My DW is no cook, but she makes a mean tuna sandwich that I always enjoy and appreciate.

Our kitchen sink is out of commission, so if we are cooking anything for dinner tonight, it has to be cooked on the grill and survive being served on paper plates. Last night was sandwiches, and I suspect tonight may be more of the same, because it doesn't look like our landlord is in any hurry to call us back.

Salmon and asparagus. Yum! Even better--I think my husband will have it ready for me when I come home from work!

Ok, I'm taking the easy way out today - one of those Palermo Pizza's with salad and a side veggie I haven't decided on yet.

It is going to be leftovers for us from foods made the last 2-3 days so that means smorgasbord! I am so thankfully my hubby doesn't mind eating leftovers as I have heard some husbands do.

Chicken alfredo with a side salad. I put the chicken and sauce in the crockpot this morning. Hope it turns out well :)

Homemade pizza using dough I made last week, turkey sausage, asparagus, fresh mozzerella, lots of rosemary (of course lol), caramalized onions, mushrooms, and spinach.
