alwaysab- sounds delicious!! My Swedish grandmother (it was her specialty) and I are drooling :-)

Actually this whole thread is making me hungry... lol!

Faye- Thank you!!! It was pretty cool to add it all up :-) Thank you again!

jdouglas- I found this on pinterest, so can't confirm until I try it, but it looks pretty darn solid to me ;-) I think I'll serve it over sautéed spinach for me for a lower carb meal (and rice for the DH, of course!) http://elizabethbryant.blogspot.com/2010/05/korean-beef.html

Tonight we're having an very old recipe from my grandmother called mince (no relation to mincemeat pie), with mashed potatoes, and a veg medley.

The chicken francese last night was a big hit, and will be making an appearance on my menus when I get home. However, my veg-picky Dad totally vetoed the broccoli last night, so I've come up with a way to disguise it - spaghetti carbonara. The broccoli will be chopped small and cooked with the pasta so it won't be so noticeable. He also won't be able to pick it out. :)

RFB the Korean beef sounds yummy. Recipe?

Happy birthday to your son.....what time is the party lol.

Hubby took me out to dinner last night, so we will be having my salsa chicken tonight

It's birthday night at our house as we celebrate our youngest - ummm...26 years old - son's birthday. We are having his favorite: Tequila-lime marinated chicken fajitas, refried beans, nachos and for a special treat German Chocolate cupcakes (made 100% from scratch with items in my pantry).
