The spaghetti carbonara that I never made last night. We were out all day with many stops, and I was wiped when we got home. I made... um... toast for dinner. At least we had ice cream for dessert!;)

For tomorrow, this afternoon I browned and then cooked a bunch of chicken thighs in a carton of chicken broth. I will debone when cool, and turn it into chicken and dumplings (biscuit type) with a variety of veg. It was so delightfully cool today, I thought something like that would taste good.

    Leftover pizza? What's that? :)

Seasoned pork chops, boiled parsley potatoes, peas, salad.

I think I am going to debone the rest of the fried chicken from a couple days ago and do chicken fried rice with a side salad.

Actually, Faye, it never occurred to me to freeze leftover pizza! Thanks, may do that with the rest...

Tonight we are having boneless beef sirloin tip roast that is cooking in the slow cooker right now with onions, mushrooms, garlic, pepper and Lipton onion soup mix in 1 cup water. Thirty minutes before it is done, I will add a mixture of sour cream, flour (to thicken) and the broth to make it more of a stroganoff. I'll serve it on egg noodles with broccoli and Pillsbury biscuits (that I need to cook before they expire this week).

The roast is on sale at Lowes Foods starting today for $2.99/lb. I picked up a 2 lb roast this morning on the way back from HT and the meat looks fabulous.

I am sure you already know this, but if you really don't want Papa Johns leftovers again, you can freeze it and then have it another day. I have done that many times with take out pizza and it re-heats well. Although pulled pork pizza would probably taste very good.

I love your "something green" comment!

Must go's. Leftover Papa John's cheese pizza, leftover crockpot pulled pork. Pulled pork pizza? Hmmm....and something green, of course.
