Coupon4Me - Because the watermelon was so ripe, the bug getting into it was enough to spoil the whole thing. If I had gotten it inside 24 hours earlier, I'd be up to my ears in watermelon. Momma is the gardener not me. I had no clue they would all start spoiling after the 6+ inches of rain in 2 days. Plus it really is getting too hot for them anyway. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Everyone's meals help me with ideas !
For most of the year , I have been cooking from my freezers/pantry
    ( I do splurge on fresh veggies,bread, milk & eggs as needed ) .
Since March we have eaten supper out 3 to 5 times at the most ; lunch a few more due to various appointments.

Tonight - chicken wings , green peas, potato salad
DH got some wonderful peaches at Kroger so those over angel food cake for dessert
    ( I will eat mine plain )

tabithaluvschris - I have never had Olive Garden's Chicken Gnocchi Soup but I bet it is great. I vote for the homemade rolls! And I hope you feel much better before you go back to work on Thursday.

Spapeggy, Tues here at our home, didn't feel well last night, didn't cook. Tomorrow night is my version of Olive Garden's Chicken Gnocchi Soup. Mmmmm.... I should make rolls! Thurs is my 1st day back to work, probably lunchmeat sandwiches. (Carlie C's $3.99 ham & turkey last week)

Aerogirl2084 - never had Tijuana Flats. Sounds really good. I also like the idea of gourmet buffet. I had that last night.

Jdouglas13 - I pray things get better soon.

ybaverage2003 and lindabates - I agree with Faye. both sound yummy.

Oh no Ascherer - at 31 lbs you couldn't just cut that part out? Ha
Barbie - I love turkey dogs!!!
Aero - I love that game too. Kinda like a generic version of chopped from the food network!

I have no idea tonight! Kids are out and I plan to do the gym. Maybe some takeout?!

aerogirl2084 - that is an awesome game and we play it about once a week! lol I hope you win! Someone years ago called it "Gourmet Buffet" here on the blog and I have called it that ever since. Enjoy your Buffet!

jdouglas13 - hang in there. So sorry you are both going through this!

ybaverage2003 and lindabates - your meals sound delicious!!

Everyone's dinner sounds yummy! I'm thinking "Taco Tuesday" from Tijuana Flats tonight. Hubby is out of town with work for a few weeks, so it's back to cooking for one for awhile. I managed to motivate myself to cook last night--hopefully I'll be motivated to do it again tomorrow, (and who knows, maybe I'll find the motivation for tonight). I'm currently playing the "let's clean out the freezer/pantry/fridge before we go to the grocery store" game--lol.

Last night was takeout pizza. Tonight might be sandwiches. Lots of long doctors appointments this week again. :( I need a vacation or at least some fun.

Took ribeyes out of the freezer. Sides of mac & cheese and broccoli.
