GJan1 - Wow!! No cavities ever?? That is impressive and worthy of a delicious Mexican food meal! If you need a partner in your food critic job, I'm in. :-)

Oh, Yeah???!!! What's for dinner? Had a dental appt. - routine cleaning. Went to Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant (Lexington, NC) and celebrated still no cavities ever. Will be 63 next month. If I had been in the Triangle, I would have gone to the new Mi Cancun in Holly Springs - great food and service with more than generous portions and reasonable prices. I want to be a food critic in my next lifetime. Lol.

    JDouglas - Happy Anniversary.

Tonight is homemade chili out of the freezer. I'll make corn bread muffins to go with it. We have had over an inch of rain today at the beach.

JDouglas - Happy Anniversary. I'm thinking I may use my coupon that I got from Subway via text ($4.99 for a six inch sub meal - sub, chips & drink). If I decide not to go to Subway, looks like it might be some barbecue.

    JDOUGLAS13- Happy Anniversary !!
I found some NICE potted herbs at Walmart yesterday on a rack near the produce section. I think they rang up $1.48 to $1.98 and the pots are 3 to 4 inches
( I will confirm if I find my receipt )
I will plant them in large pots on the porch for now so the will not drown nor get eaten by "bad" bunnies and turtles

Tonight - late supper ( 9:30 to 10 ) . Probably a "heat and eat" package I put in the freezer in the last few months ( ham ?? roast beef ?) with salad or green beans and roasted new potatoes .

JDouglas, congrats to you. And I don't think it is too late to plant some basil....pick up one or two plants at Lowes or Home Depot and add some Miracle Grow. :)

I am totally envious of your basil plants! With everything going on recently, I never did get any plants purchased, much less planted.

Today is our 25+2 wedding anniversary. Since DW can't be out among people and germs, we will be having our anniversary dinner at home tonight. Shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, grilled asparagus, baked potato, and anniversary cake which replicates our wedding cake. :)
