I'm making Simple Scallops and Couscous http://www.food.com/recipe/simple-scallops-and-couscous-150742#activity-feed and steamed asparagus. Dessert is chocolate dipped strawberries and the cutest "cheesecake heart for two" that I picked up at HT. It was only $2.99 and has 4 or 5 large brownie bites on top drizzled with caramel. I might skip dinner and go straight to dessert! Happy Valentine's day everyone.

Barbiedoll, glad your DH is doing better. Bronchitis is scary because it goes into pneumonia so easily.

I have not yet tried the soufflé recipes, and have only made one in my life, but they are DW's fave, and these days anything DW wants, I will jump through hoops to provide. :)

Here are links to the 2 recipes I'm considering. I will be topping them with slightly sweetened whipped cream.

jdouglas13 - many thanks for the kind and chocolatey offer! I actually have plans for after the turkey sandwich/pizza fest with the kids so I will have to pass. I'm sure you understand. :-) Send me a photo and I will post it for everyone to drool over!

RaleighFoodBlogger - Send us a photo of your Pioneer Woman's Chocolate Pie as well! Pretty please. I'm eating vicariously through you and Jdouglas. lol

JDouglas13 - my DH is doing alot better. Thanks for asking. I wished I lived near to you so I could also come by and enjoy those milk chocolate souffles! Would you share the recipe? I love anything chocolate!!!

Barbiedoll, how is your DH doing with his bronchitis? Better I hope. Sending good thoughts. :)

Well, we were out yesterday and meant to stop at the fish market to pick up a couple of frozen lobster tails for our dinner tonight. Totally forgot. So, rather than make the trek to Raleigh again just for that, I will make some concoction with shrimp -- maybe scampi?

Dessert will be the star of the show, though. Homemade milk chocolate souffles! Faye, the recipe makes 6 -- feel free to come by for one to make up for your turkey sandwich. Seriously!

I had planned to make a nice dinner for me and my hubby, but he has something up his sleeve. He told me last night "I got dinner," so I'm making some Red Velvet Brownies for dessert! (It's a recipe I found on Pinterest--I hope the end result looks and tastes as good as the picture!! :)

Parmesan crusted chicken, creamy garlic pasta, white corn for the family... I'm going to have pepperoni and cheese stuffed chicken served with creamed spinanch.

Last night was sautéed chicken, rice and green beans. Tonight will be a very romantic PDQ meal - kids meals are free!! :). Thanks for the heads up Faye!! Ha
