    raesmom1612 - oops! I didn't look closely enough.

RFB - yummy sounding pasta dish! lol

Jdouglas - thanks for the additional cauliflower tips. :-)

Thanks for the credit Faye but that was RFB :) nothing fancy overs her just old faithful spaghetti and meat sauce. I didn't get to sleep last night until midnight and baby ziti woke up at 5am!!! Exhausted does not define how I felt today. I'm off to bed night night everyone!!!

Don't forget the garlic with the cauliflower, and just a little minced parsley or Italian herbs if you have it.

I was out earlier and stopped at Fresh Market to take advantage of the last day of their reopening sale and got 4 cauliflower for 1.50/head, as well as walnuts for $4.99/lb, and asparagus for $1.99/lb!

coupon4me - great tip! Thank you so much. :-)

Raesmom - I love creamy spaghetti with corn and chicken (or shrimp) so I bet the ham will be tasty!

  • coupon4me Dec 13, 2016

Mashed cauliflower needs cream cheese (usually use fat free) with lots of parm cheese!!!

Not in the mood to go out and get FM chicken today. So I looked through what we have on hand and I'm going to try a spaghetti with a creamy sauce with ham and corn. Lazy rainy day :)

Tonight we are having baked Tilapia, baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. Last night turned out to be oatmeal for me. lol

Ascherer and Jdouglas - I hope today brings you better health and appetites!

meredith88 - so glad to hear you are on the med!

lindabates - sorry about the epic fails. As jdouglas wrote - we ALL have those nights. Here's hoping your pork chops-baked are fabulous. :-)

jdouglas13 - Pasta fail??? You are the queen of pasta. You really are not feeling well.

ybaverage2003 - LOVE homemade pizza night! Happy Tuesday to you as well! :-)

coupon4me - I bought some frozen cauliflower last week so I could make mashed cauliflower. My youngest really likes it. Anything special you do to it to spruce it up?

Lindabates, I hear you. The pasta I made for DW last night was a fail for sure. You'd think after cooking for 50 years I would know to check the pasta for doneness before I drain it. :p

Tonight is baked pork tenderloin (still BOGO at HT) with an Asian inspired BBQ sauce, broccoli, rice from the $0.25 off FL brand sale earlier this fall. HT Clayton had some very nice bunches of broccoli yesterday for $2.

I'm feeling much better today! Thank you everyone for your kind words :-)

Tonight we are having an Asian beef stir fry using a thin steak I got on markdown at HT over the weekend and a bag of their frozen stir fry veggies which are on sale through today. I'll cook it all and toss it in a honey terriyaki marinade sauce and serve it with white rice.

The past 2 days meals have been epic fails... so tonight I will try making pork chops-baked, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls.
