Coupon4me, welcome back! Sounds like you had a great trip! :)

I'm back! Not that anyone noticed I was gone....but after Disney World and Thanksgiving, I am ready for normalcy. :-)

Last night we did burgers on the grill with sweet potato fries and asparagus.
Tonight I am doing turkey chili with cornbread.

We have a very busy night tonight so dinner will be sandwiches with chips and raw veggies and fresh grapes. If we're cold we'll grill the sandwiches and if we're warm then we'll just have cold cuts.

Korean Beef Bowls and broccoli! Not very exciting but yummy and will make enough for 2 nights. Also, I did my final shopping for the month today and I'm SOOO excited! We came in at $575 for 4 adults (even including many trips to the Fresh Market) for all food. And we only went out once for dinner, which wasn't included. YAY!!!

Happy birthday girls!!!!!!! I hope to see them at the cookie swap this year. Wow 17!!!! I can't even think that far ahead right now. I'm just gonna enjoy my time with Rae baking cookies, cakes and brownies, until she "never wants to see me again" LOL

Tonight we are doing baked bbq ribs with potato salad baked beans and biscuits. Still a few brownies leftso that's dessert.

twinredheads - that is hilarious! You are a sweet mom to accommodate both of them. :-) The bright side is that it will probably be more frugal that way since you can do drinks at home and no tip needed for take out. lol Happy birthday girls!!

I have an idea for tomorrow's dinner, and am typing it out here so that maybe I'll see it again and actually remember. Since it's so warm, Caesar salad with shrimp, rolls.

What's everyone else doing for dinner?

Twinredheads, happy birthday to your twins!

Lindabates, I'm probably stealing your dinner idea. I have a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread I got on sale with the intention of turning it into French toast. I also bought 3 dozen of the HT $0.77 eggs on Sunday.

Faye your dinner sounds yummy. Right up my alley. But, kale? Really?? Long distance hugs to your daughter. Do you want some homemade chicken broth for her? I have a bunch in the freezer. You could add a little of your chicken and rice to it.

It's the girls 17th birthday so we planned on taking them out to dinner. Since they couldn't agree on a restaurant, we are getting take out. One wants Buffalo Wild Wings and the other Panera. Oh, the joys have celebrating twins' birthdays :)
