    (ran out of space) So I explained to her that it was not supposed to be a real cupcake and it was a meatloaf cupcake and we had to use our imagination and she says "oh ok, then it was very tasty mom". Kids are hilarious!!!! P.S. she ate the whole thing lol

    Lindabates-chili is a favorite at our house too & very simple. I Brown the ground beef first then put it in the crock pot with all of these ingredients......a can of kidney beans (not drained or rinsed) a can of diced tomatoes, onions, green peppers, corn (half a bag if using frozen or a whole can), half a can of tomatoe paste, half a can of tomato sauce 3/4 cup of water & a packet of chili seasoning like McCormick or store brand. Set it on low for 8hours or high for 4 hours & done. So good with some corn bread on the side!!

    Tonight was pizza hut. I worked late & went to the gym & didn't get home til 8 so didn't have time to do the Alfredo. The chicken is thawed so ill throw it in the crock pot tomorrow with the Alfredo sauce & make the noodles & add the brocolli when I get home tomorrow.

    Faye Rae loved the meatloaf "cupcakes" but when I tucked her in last night she says "mom can i tell you the truth....your cupcake did not taste like a real cupcake and it was not tasty" lololol!!

    LindaBates - I love chili. Here is what I use in mine: 2 lbs. ground beef, chopped onion(s), chopped peppers (normally a green, yellow and red), 3 or 4 cans of beans, a large can of diced tomatoes with juice, a large can of whole tomatoes with juice, minced garlic, and then chili powder, red pepper, black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder & onion powder to taste. Put it all in a crock pot and cook for 6 to 8 hours. Remember you can always add more seasoning but you can't take any away. We will have that for dinner for a couple of nights and the rest goes in the freezer for quick and easy meals later. I hope this helps. You can email me if you have any questions.

    So I bought the stuff and came home and made the chili... I was not impressed!!! I'll try again one day and maybe get it right.

    We just got home from a marathon doctors appointment and I don't feel like cooking. I'm going to order take out Chinese for dinner. Easy out for me and there are always leftovers for several lunches, too.

    Tonight is Beef stew over white rice with French bread roll and European butter for my husband and son, For me is grilled salmon with grilled zucchini, I started my diet and exercise a week ago, Eating less carbohydrates or no carbohydrates at all, just Eating proteins, ( fish,chicken breast,soft boiled eggs and lean beef) vegetables and fruits.

    LindaBates, chili is really easy. Ground beef or ground turkey, some onion, green pepper, a can or 2 of tomato sauce and a chili seasoning packet will get you started. Directions are usually on the seasoning packet. It is worth trying ! Let us know if you attempt :)

    We have some leftover homemade alfredo sauce so I'm thinking a batch of shrimp (BOGO bags the other week at HT) alfredo with HT pasta and salad.
