After a grueling week of treatment and shopping and extra Dr. appointments and NO HOT WATER STILL, DW and I just got home and are going to relax tonight and have a ham & cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll (that I did not make) for dinner.

No dinner plans yet. Trying to figure out if we are leaving tonight or tomorrow morning. It all depends on when DH gets home from work.

Raesmom - that recipe sounds great! I bet you could also use turkey bacon or veggie sausage. I am going to try it soon. Thanks. Yay for PJ's!

I am guessing that everyone is shopping for T-Day or traveling. It's so quiet today.......

Safe travels and successful cooking to all of you!

LOl yes that was my first question. It is on Sunday "night" I told them my bedtime was 9 pm, they responded with "you are on vacation!!" so I said I will be there only if I can wear my pj's and they said deal, we will wear ours too :) and for the slow cooker breakfast I use ground sausage (you can substitute ground turkey as well) browned in a pan, a dozen eggs, a bag of shredded cheese (sharp cheddar), a half a bag of frozen hash browns and some onions and peppers. I put it in at 3 am (while I'm wrapping last minute gifts) and by 8-9am its ready for eating (six hours on high check on it after 4 hours). Season it up with adobo of course and anything else you like on your eggs.

raesmom1612 - I am sure they will love your slow cooker breakfast! Tell me again what's in it. And I love the PJ's baby shower theme. Does that mean you get to wear your PJ's to the shower?? Soooooo cute!

I'm sure I will be ready to come home by Monday lol gotta love family :) I decided that I am going to make my "famous" Christmas morning breakfast in the slow cooker for the morning after Thanksgiving. Hope everyone likes it

MMMM sounds yummy Faye! Last night ended up being super quick super easy spaghetti with meat sauce and I made enough for leftovers today. Tonight will be gourmet buffet since I don't want to leave food sitting in the fridge while we are gone. The forecast in Buffalo this am was 31 degrees with light snow.......not ready lol

Tonight we are having BBQ chicken in the slow cooker, croissants, vegetable soup. I made the veggie soup in the slow cooker last night. It's the first time I have made it in the slow cooker (vs the stove) and I love it. So easy to just let it sit and cook for hours. Stay warm this morning!
