Nanee Lion, your banana story reminded me of a trip to Acapulco many years ago before TSA, etc.

Someone had brought a whole stalk (?) of bananas onto the plane, which was a no go with Customs. It was a very long, delayed, and rowdy flight with way too much tequila and kaluha being served, and did not get into JFK/NY until something like 2:30 a.m. The poor flight attendant had had just about enough by the end of the flight, and told us we could not get off the plane until somehow the passenger with the bananas got rid of them all first, and that the garbage was not a option. After a long argument with her, the passenger finally ended up passing out bananas to everyone all the plane, and we all had to eat them before they let us off the flight.

    And that's my banana story.

Back later with a dinner menu.

RFB - I agree! Spaghetti is an easy go-to meal on a very busy night. Your chili sounds great!

Tonight we're doing Turkey White Bean Chili and an easy salad on the side

Ascherer- Chicken Enchiladas are my favorite! Need to add them to the meal plan soon :-)

Faye- We had spaghetti a few nights ago... can never go wrong!

Last night ended up being chicken enchiladas. (I love cooking stupid amounts and freezing them). I think tonight will be chef salad.

Raesmom - Thanks for the tips. I may have you email the peanut butter cookies recipe so I can send them. I know chocolate is a no no right now. Plus I know he can eat nuts.

Nanee Lion - You had me rolling on the floor with the banana story. I am sure it was pretty bad on his end. Can you end me the pound cake recipe? ( I would greatly appreciate it. I really want to send things he can share with his friends.
