lindabates - I am so sorry you had a rough day! I hope tomorrow is much better. I am sure the cookie helped, though. :-)

raesmom1612 - that sauce sounds great!

We went with the veggie pizza tonight. I made a 3-cheese and black olive pizza. I had some tomato sauce that needed to be used (will do a white pizza next time) and I topped it with black olives, garlic, Italian seasoning, provolone, mozzarella and parmesan. It was so good! I am definitely using multiple cheese next time.

Lindsbates-I envy you lol. I have a few veggies in the fridge that needed to get used (thanks to a fellow blog member :) ) so I threw some sweet potato greens, red pepper and these cute little tomato things in my meat sauce with some fresh basil and rosemary and the house smells amazing! Cant wait to try it!!!

Rough day at work so I got a large $10 pizza from papa Murphy's, a kids pizza and 2 containers of choc chip cookie dough for $20... Have leftovers for lunch tomorrow and 1 of the containers of cookies in the oven and the other is all mine and I'm eating some raw cookie dough as I type :)

Lasata, thanks so much for the ideas to use up the Greek yogurt! I love the idea of mixing it with pesto. It won't even taste like yogurt! And actually, you reminded me that I've had chicken with yogurt as a marinade. It was really good.

Now to use up the 4 lbs of ricotta cheese also expiring... white pizza, anyone?

jdouglas13 - great idea on the name tags for the swap!

Lasata - wonderful suggestions for using the Greek yogurt! I really like your idea about mixing it with PB and cinnamon for a fruit/pretzel dip. It sounds delicious.

JDOUGLAS I use Greek yogurt as a marinade on all kinds of meat. It keeps it moist and tender and I marinade anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. I've mixed Italian dressing and Greek yogurt, pesto and yogurt, lemon and herbs with yogurt, and finally buffalo sauce and yogurt. Oh and I've used it to make a dipping sauce for pan fried chicken with mustard and honey and the yogurt, Delightful. for a sweet I mix the yogurt with peanut butter and some cinnamon and dip apples or pretzel, pears

RFB - thanks for the suggestions on using up the Greek yogurt. The roast chicken sounds delicious.

Count me in for the cookie swap! I would love to meet all the folks I've been talking to here. Maybe we should have name tags with our screen name and our real (or not) first name so we know who is who (and to help my poor memory).

YAY! I am so glad you can make it Ascherer and Raesmom! I had a great time last year as well!

And dinner tonight is..... I'm not sure yet. Either the tofu or the pizza from my weekly menu. Last night we ended up having pasta. We'll see what the kids want.
