    Jdouglas- thanks, I'll try that!

RFB, I know what you mean about the folks not answering. My Mom would never answer or would be terribly snarly if she did, but my Dad and sister prank people all the time. My Dad is so good at it too. He pranks ME all the time.

If you dial *82 before you dial your parents' phone number, it should show your number on their phone. It works for me with a TWC unlisted number.

Dessert ended up being a blueberry streusel coffeecake that I just put in the oven. Somehow it seemed easier than wrestling the yet as uncut watermelon monster taking up half my fridge.

Watermelon, anyone? I'll give you some coffeecake if you help me out here. ;)

Jdouglas- your sister and my DH would get along! And couldn't help but giggle. My folks (in their late 70's now) get so many telemarketers they won't even answer MY call, unless I call 3-4 times in a row so they know it's me. My number show "Unlisted" on their end, and they're not sure how to program it in lol! I need to take care of that next time I'm there. But until then... I'd call 20 times in a row if need be- best parents ever :-)

So last night was supposed to be chicken on the grill on salad. I remembered the other dozen things and stops on my list (although I lost my list, nothing new) EXCEPT I forgot the romaine. Last night was tuna sandwiches.

Still didn't get the romaine, but early this morning before it got too hot I oven roasted the chicken, made potato salad, and if my poor basil isn't dead from lack of water, caprese salad (tomato, mozz, basil) on the side. Dessert is also watermelon that I thought was on sale, but wasn't, and I didn't have any energy left to bring it back to customer service once I saw the price on the receipt.

There are some really good sounding things on the menus tonight. Maybe we need to start one of those things they used to have back in the day where you'd go to one house for appetizers, another for salad, another for entrée, etc.

Ascherer, my sister (50 going on 12) answers every unknown phone number with "County Morgue". She & my Dad have great fun messing with sales call

Tonight after football practice it's either homemade pizza or turkey meatball subs. Hmm...

Switching the meal plan from chicken enchiladas to the homemade veggie pizzas as one of the girls is having a sleepover. I'll prep everything and it will be "make your own." :)

WONDERSWHY- I've never tried a pork tenderloin in the crock pot. Sounds delicious!

And we're just plugging away on our menu today, love day 2 with no dishes!

Ascherer, too funny. Especially when YOU called me, they definitely aren't prepped for your responses.

I have a pork tenderloin in the crockpot with onions, balsamic vinegar, and seasonings! I will probably make some roasted red potatoes and a veggie to go with it!
